2009 Outlook: Super Sleeper (high risk/potential)

Josh Cribbs is emerging as an intriguing fantasy option, but it remains to be seen how much time he will actually spend on offense. Much like Devin Hester was a couple of years ago in Chicago, Cribbs is a returnman first and foremost. However, again like Hester, the Browns are using Cribbs as a wideout and occasionally will even give him a carry or two on an end-around. With other receivers like David Patten, Brian Robiskie, Mohamed Massaquoi and Mike Furrey not tearing it up, it is very possible that Cleveland and Coach Eric Mangini will give Cribbs a shot at being a wide receiver most of the time. Keep an eye on the remaining preseason games to see how productive Cribbs is as a wide receiver.
