2013 Outlook: Quality Backup

Coming off a disappointing injury plagued season, Joseph Addai should play a major role in the Colts offense in 2011. Addai played in only eight games for the Colts during the 2010 regular season, carrying the ball 116 times for 495 yards and four touchdowns. If Addai can stay healthy, he should receive about half the Colts carries, with Donald Brown and rookie Delone Carter also being in the mix. Fantasy owners should watch the situation when training camp and the preseason roll around, but it is unlikely that Addai will reach the 1000 yard mark this season. Joseph Addai will make a good backup running back in fantasy leagues, but should not be counted on to start.
