2009 Outlook: Gamble (high risk)

I don't think anyone can say for sure who will be the starting quarterback for the Jets this season. New York didn't move up to the fifth position in the draft and select Sanchez if they felt Clemens could get the job done. More likely than not we'll see Clemens starting the season and Sanchez pick up a few starts late in the season once New York has been eliminated from the playoffs. If you're thinking about picking Clemens, then you may want to consider his 133 completions on 256 attempts and 5 touchdowns to 11 interceptions. These numbers give Clemens a 59.3 quarterback rating. Not the kind of numbers fantasy owners are looking for. Unless you're in dire straights for a backup, you should stay away from Jets quarterbacks this season.
