Over the past three seasons Daniels has proven to be one of the league's more consistent tight ends. In 2008 he finished the year with 70 receptions for 862 yards and 2 touchdowns. If you're in a league that requires a tight end, then Daniels has to be on your draft board. Once you get past the top three or four tight ends, there are very few guys who consistently get the ball the way Daniels does. The only drawback to Owen's numbers are the lack of touchdowns. With so many offensive weapons in Houston, there's no telling who will get the touchdowns from week to week. I think two touchdowns is a bit low for Daniels this season. Don't be afraid to draft Owen this season, he won't disappoint you.

FFToolbox.com - I waited longer this draft to take the TE and I'm rewarded with Daniels, who already has a 70 grabs for 862 yards season on his resume. He hasn't had much success finding the end zone, but as long as Matt Schaub stays on the field, Daniels will thrive. |

FantasyFootballTrader.com - I for one don't believe Owen Daniels ends up being among the "other" tight ends this year. He'll be a quality option in this format. |
