2013 Outlook: Solid/Safe Pick

Last updated on Jul-13-2013 by Vin Sadicario

Marques Colston has been one of the most steady fantasy wide receivers since entering the league in 2006. Colston has amassed at least 1000 yards and seven touchdowns in each of the last four seasons, and should have no problem reaching those numbers again this season. Colston is unlikely to improve too much this season, but if you are looking for a solid producer, Colston is a safe pick in fantasy leagues.

4.07 Fantasytaz - Jim Day - With 3 RBs on my squad it was time to turn to the WRs. Colston didn't finish as a top 12 WR in 2012, but the return of Sean Payton to play calling duties should make this offense even more potent again. With a strong RB start I feel comfortable with Colston as my #1 WR.

4.09 FFToday - After taking Rodgers in Round 3, I was targeting RB Le'Veon Bell here in Round 4. When he didn't fall to me, it only made sense to think about another position as there were plenty of running backs available in my next tier. I would've been happy with either Jordy Nelson or my eventual pick, Marques Colston.
