2011 Outlook:  

There are lots of tight ends in the league and Fells is certainly one of them. In truth, this fantasy nonentity is only worth considering as a last resort. Yes, he did split time with Randy McMichael last season, but the older McMichael's departure doesn't necessary mean it is clear sailing now for Fells. The Rams obviously lack faith in his ability and spent two draft picks this spring looking to upgrade the TE position. If either of Michael Hoomamawanui or Fendi Onomun look sharp in training camp, Fells could be out of luck and out of the job. Even if he fends them off early, he'll be looking over his shoulder all season long.
