TE Zach Miller, OAK
<< Back to Profiles List
Among tight ends last year, Miller finished sixth in receiving yards and eighth in receptions in 2008. He also led the Raiders in both categories but, oddly enough, managed only one receiving touchdown. Chalk that up to bad play-calling, because this is a guy the Raiders should be leaning on. With a few more red zone looks, Miller can easily slide into the top tier at his position. This year will likely be the last chance for fantasy owners to draft him at such a discount.

ThunderingBlurb.com - Rolled the dice on a TE I loved being here now but that didn't pay off like i hoped. Miller is a very good TE stuck in a mediocre to bad offense and kept in to block far too often. But if Garcia gets the job, if the line holds up, if Russell can play well - Miller has tremendous upside. Shakier than I would like, he should be ok and I can look to pair him with another TE later. Not the best option but thats the risk you take sometimes. |

FFToolbox.com - The Raiders have to throw the ball to someone and Miller has a great chance to be one of those tight ends that leads his team in receptions. Factor in some big-play ability and Miller is a very attractive value at this point. |

FFToolbox.com - I am not looking for another TE with Carlson in the fold, but IMO Miller is by far the best player on the board. |
