TE Greg Olsen, CHI
<< Back to Profiles List
Olsen had over 50 receptions for five touchdowns last season; this was with a lackluster quarterback. With Jay Cutler's arm and ability to fit the ball into tight spaces with a big target, Olsen might be more productive in 2009. We have seen Cutler utilize his tight ends in various scenarios and be successful in catching defenses off guard. Look for Olsen to be a stud tight end this season and for Cutler to target him early and often. I am figuring the two connect for at least 60 receptions and 6-10 touchdowns. Olsen is definitely a top 10 TE.

RapidDraft.com - This is probably at least a round earlier than I'd usually take him, but the shallow lineup in this league amps up the position's importance. I see a gap between Olsen -- who seems to me like the best bet to lead the Bears in receptions -- and the rest of the remaining tight ends. |
