2011 Outlook: Solid/Safe Pick
Despite getting fewer touches during the 2009 campaign, Ryan Grant is coming off of his most productive NFL season. He tallied 1,253 rushing yards on 282 carries and reached the end zone 11 times. He also added 197 receiving yards. This is the second year in a row Grant has eclipsed the 1,200 yard plateau and there is little reason to believe he will not do it again as long as he can stay healthy. Grant's fewer touches may have played in his favor since he was usually fresh and ready to take advantage of the opportunities that he was given. It is tough to rely on a running back that should once again get about 20 touches per game, but Grant will make a fine second back in any fantasy league.
