TE John Carlson, SEA
<< Back to Profiles List
This sophomore was thrown into the fire last season and asked to carry a heavy load on an offense that was basically without any other viable receiving options. Carlson stepped up to the challenge and proved to be a steady, reliable target. While he has a bright future, his numbers may actually suffer as the talent around him gets replenished. With some decent, healthy receivers now on the squad, the Seahawks won't need to lean so much on their young TE.

FFLibrarian.com - With Greg Olsen and Owen Daniels going in recent picks, I'm feeling the need to grab a TE now. Carlson has a lot of upside - especially in a PPR league - and he stands to benefit from a healthier Seattle offense. |

ThunderingBlurb.com - It may be just a tad early but with the lack of top TEs on the board, I'm going upside. I actually think Houshmandzedah will help Carlson by giving him someone to draw coverage away from Carlson. Hass very much liked the second year Notre Dame tight end so I'll put my USC born disdain for the Fighting Irish and grab a guy who is likely to get a ton of looks from his QB. |
