Cardinals' Steve Breaston healthy, ready to make up for disappointing 2010

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Steve Breaston @SBreaston15 knows that last year was a big letdown for the team, but specifically for himself. He put up 1,000 yards in 2008, but gained just 718 yards on 47 receptions in 2010. He caught one touchdown. Now, those totals can be attributed to the fact that the Cardinals were unable to send anything close to a serviceable quarterback out on the field. But Breaston said it's because he wasn't healthy. A bad knee affected him throughout the season but he said during a Thursday radio interview that the knee is "fine" and he'll be ready for the start of the season. While he avoided going into much detail about his rehab, Breaston did say he didn't have any further surgery on the knee -- he already had one -- and that rest helped him the most. Breaston also said his legs are stronger. Breaston, 27, will become a free agent at the end of the lockout.

Fantasy Analysis:

The knee is something to track. But, as with all other free agents, Breaston's fantasy stock is currently unknown. Even if he stays in the desert, no one will really know how to evaluate him until the Cardinals pick up their next starting QB. And here's another cliche: Given the right situation, he could be an interesting sleeper.
