Jaguars agree to six-year contract with Paul Posluszny

Middle linebacker Paul Posluszny is now member of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Poz had been a member of the Bills but with their heavy use of a 3-4 base defense, he expressed an interest getting back onto a 4-3 D. NFL Network's Jason La Canfora and the Florida Times-Union broke the story of Poz's signing to a six-year deal. If the Jaguars re-sign Kirk Morrison @kirkmorrison, he'll have to move to weakside linebacker.

Fantasy Analysis:

This is a big pick-up for the Jags. Poz is one of the top tacklers at his position in the game. In his last three seasons, he has 372 combined tackles. In 2011, he averaged of 10.8 tackles per game. Jacksonville now has one of the best IDP players in the game and Poz should drastically improve their run defense. In addition, reports are indicating that Jacksonville wants to add a free agent safety as well which makes sense since they've struggled against the pass for a few years now.
