Vince Young will sign 1-year contract with Eagles on Friday
It sure didn't take long for Vince Young to find work. The dismissed Tennessee Titan has reached an agreement with the Philadelphia Eagles. According to NFL Network's Albert Breer, Young will sign the contract Friday. It was reported that the Miami Dolphins were also vying for Young's services. Financial details probably won't be known until tomorrow, so an update will be added then. UPDATE: Young can earn up to $5.5 million on his one-year contract.
Fantasy Analysis:
Well, if nothing else, Young and Michael Vick make for quite an athletic twosome at quarterback. Of course, Young will be a backup, ahead of Mike Kafka on the depth chart. For now, Young has zero fantasy value. But given Vick's penchant for injury -- he has played 16 games in a season just once in his career and missed three games last year due to a rib cartilage injury -- Young will see the field sooner or later.
