Saints WR Lance Moore re-aggravates hamstring
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Lance Moore
was a late addition last week to the team's injury report with a hamstring injury. He ended up being a game-time decision for Monday Night Football and was able to give it a shot, that is until he re-aggravated his injury during the second quarter. The Saints still have a chance to capture the No. 2 seed in the NFC side of the playoffs but will need a Week 17 win as well as a 49ers loss or tie. Even with something to gain, it's likely more important to the team that Moore take a game off and be ready for the postseason.
Fantasy Analysis:
Coach Sean Payton told reporters on Tuesday that he knew Moore was done immediately after he made the catch that took eventually took out of the game. Payton added that he will cautious with Moore in practice and feels this injury is 'significant' for a receiver. From the sounds of it, Moore will be shut down until the playoffs and a bye week would be much-needed for him and of course every other player on the team.
