Buccaneers fire entire coaching staff
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are starting over. Completely. The team let go of all 19 coaches Monday, including head coach Raheem Morris. The pretty inevitable news came one day after the Bucs ended their 2011 season on a 10-game losing streak, accentuated by week 17's loss to Atlanta in which they trailed, 42-0, before halftime. They lost their final six games by an average of 23 points and looked like they didn't want to be on the field as the season hit the home stretch.
Fantasy Analysis:
It's been a shocking turnaround for the Bucs, who won 10 games last year, narrowly missed the playoffs and looked to be ascending thanks to their young, talented roster. But injuries hit them hard this season. Plus, quarterback Josh Freeman
really regressed. Now he'll have to used to a new coaching staff and may have to learn an entirely new offense, which doesn't bode well for his immediate fantasy value.
