Packers, TE Jermichael Finley agree to 2-year deal

No franchise tag for Jermichael Finley @JermichaelF88. He and the Green Bay Packers agreed to terms on a two-year, $14 million deal Wednesday. The contract includes a $4.45 million roster bonus in the second year. Finley caught 55 passes for 767 yards and eight touchdowns this past season.

Fantasy Analysis:

Going into 2011, injury concerns were the red flag on Finley. He quelled those concerns somewhat by playing in 15 regular-season games, but then his hands became a major issue. Sure, his overall numbers look pretty nice, but it could have been so much more if not for 11 drops, fifth-most in the league. However, Finley doesn't even turn 25 years old until next month and remains one of the most talented and athletic players at his position. And he's got that Rodgers kid throwing him the ball, which is a good thing. Owning Finley is not a smooth ride, but he should be a top-five TE in fantasy drafts this summer as he still possesses considerable upside.
