Giants' Ahmad Bradshaw completely recovered from ankle surgery
Ahmad Bradshaw is no stranger to foot and ankle injuries. They have hampered him over the past two seasons in which he has become a very prominent member of the Giants' running game. Bradshaw underwent an operation to clean out his left ankle in February and said in a Monday night radio interview that he's feeling good despite missing the Giants' player-organized workouts.
"I haven't made it to any of the workouts that [the Giants] set up," Bradshaw said. "I'm in Miami training, getting back on my after my surgeries. I feel 100 percent."
Bradshaw ran for 1,235 yards and eight touchdowns last season. He also caught 47 passes for 314 yards.
Fantasy Analysis:
It's nice to hear that Bradshaw is all healthy and whatnot. But his fantasy value won't be determined until this lockout ends and we find out where he will be playing next season. In the linked article, Bradshaw said: "I love New York more than anything, and I'd love to be here." But he's a free agent and there's no guarantee that he'll be back with the Giants. Miami or Denver seems to be Bradshaw's likely new local. Hopefully we'll have a better idea about Bradshaw's possibilities by this time next week. But boy howdy, it sure it developing slowly.
