Packers' Donald Driver, Jermichael Finley are 100 percent ... and then some

It's been a boring summer, but all NFL players have gained lots of extra time to heal up thanks to the lockout. That includes Green Bay Packers wide receiver Donald Driver @Donald_Driver80 and tight end Jermichael Finley @JermichaelF88. Driver suffered an ankle sprain during the Super Bowl that put him in walking boot for two months. But he said he's ready to prove that he hasn't lost much at the age of 36. "I know I can play at a high level," Driver told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. "I'm going back to have fun. I have two years left on my contract; I want to play those two years out -- as a starter." While proclaiming himself healthy, Driver also talked about Finley, who didn't play past week five last season because of a knee injury. "I know he's hungry," Driver said of Finley. "He wants action." Over the weekend, Finley wrote on Twitter that his knee is "1000000000000000%."

Fantasy Analysis:

One quadrillion percent? That's pretty good. This agrees with what we heard back in June about Driver, who then said he was ready to play. Finley said his surgically repaired knee felt brand new in May. Even with the obvious injury concerns, Finley should still be considered one of the best fantasy tight ends. He posted a couple of 100-yard games right before he got hurt. He's only 24, a nightmare matchup for almost any defense and has Aaron Rodgers getting the ball to him. I'm not really worried about Finley too much; I just want him on my team. Conversely, it's OK to let Donald Driver fall in your draft. He doesn't want to believe it, but his body is breaking down. Players such as Finley and Jordy Nelson will be more important cogs in Green Bay's offense this year. Driver is someone to stash on your bench or grab in free agency.
