Eagles' DeSean Jackson might hold out

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson @DeseanJackson10 is scheduled to make $565,000 this season. Obviously, he thinks he's worth much more than that, and it looks like he may be willing to stay away from Eagles camp until he get what he deserves. Jackson wasn't present when Philadelphia opened its team facilities this morning, and quarterback Michael Vick @MikeVick isn't sure when Jackson will show.

""Hopefully, he'll be here tomorrow," Vick said told the Philadelphia Inquirer. "DeSean just has some things to think about and some decisions to make that only himself can make."

Jackson averaged 22.5 yards per catch in 2010 as he put up a 1,000-yard season with six touchdowns.

Fantasy Analysis:

Too early to panic here; it's just something to keep in mind. Jackson has let it be known that he wants a new contract and given his first three NFL seasons, he deserves it. I think the Eagles realize this. They aren't going to head into the new season without doing everything they can to make their best wide receiver content.
Jackson is a top-10 fantasy wideout. There's no need to downgrade him. Considering the long layoff after the lockout, it just would have been nice for Jackson to show up today. And so we wait ....
