Dolphins and Saints close to sign-and-trade agreement for Reggie Bush

The Saints and Dolphins have agreed to "the framework" of a trade involving running back Reggie Bush @ReggieBush. The deal is not yet complete as Bush needs to iron out contract terms with the Dolphins. Since this deal is not yet completed, there is still a possibility that Bush remains with New Orleans at a lower pay rate. Durability remains a big concern with Bush as he hasn't played a full slate of games since his rookie year in 2006. Last year, he only played in eight games and had statistical career lows across the board.

Fantasy Analysis:

What has always struck me as strange is that Bush garners a lot of respect in recent years from analysts because he's such difficult matchup. But Bush peaked during his rookie year. Check out his 2006 numbers: 1,307 total yards, 88 receptions and eight TDs. That's not bad at all! Unfortunately, Bush hasn't been able to stay healthy and when he has played, he doesn't touch the ball as much. No matter where he ends up, Bush lacks the consistent production to provide any Fantasy value for your team. Unless his touches significantly increase, which would make an injury even more likely, it's best to leave him on the waiver wire or let someone else take a chance on him.
