Ravens WR Anquan Boldin done for regular season

It's not like he was doing a whole lot of anything lately, but fantasy owners will be without the services of Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Anquan Boldin @AnquanBoldin for the rest of the regular season. The nine-year veteran had surgery Thursday to repair a knee injury -- a slight tear in a meniscus. Head coach John Harbaugh said he'll miss the final two games of the regular season but will be back for the playoffs. Boldin ends his 2011 regular season with 57 catches for 887 yards and three touchdowns.

Fantasy Analysis:

Boldin was pretty solid in the first half of the season, but he has scored just once since week eight and hasn't topped 70 receiving yards in a game since week nine. Torrey Smith @TorreySmithWR will now take over as Baltimore's No. 1 WR and is a really intriguing play because of his speed. But for week 16, he'll probably be matched up against Browns cornerback Joe Haden. Expect the Ravens to go very run-heavy this Saturday versus Cleveland.
