With Marion Barber likely out, RB Kahlil Bell will get start for Bears
Can Kahlil Bell
win you a fantasy championship? Stranger things have happened in fantasy football. But if you need him, it looks like Bell will be available for a full load of carries Sunday night against the Green Bay Packers. That's because Marion Barber
has been ruled out for the game due to a calf injury. The only other options behind Bell are Armando Allen and fullback Tyler Clutts, neither of whom have a carry to their credit. Last week, Bell racked up 108 total yards on 20 touches with a receiving touchdown versus the Seattle Seahawks.
Fantasy Analysis:
I love Kahlil Bell this week as a flex, and maybe even as an RB2. I would start him over the likes of Roy Helu, Beanie Wells, Ahmad Bradshaw, any Cowboys running back and Kevin Smith. He's an excellent option in a PPR league as he has caught five passes in each of the past two weeks. Josh McCown might check down to him frequently against Green Bay.
