Eagles RB LeSean McCoy sustains ankle injury

Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy @CutonDime25 had to leave today's game versus Dallas during the fourth quarter because of a left ankle injury. He actually ended up being carted back to the locker room for X-rays, but returned to the game on the Eagles' next offensive series. He gained just 35 yards on 13 carries and caught one pass for 10 yards.

Fantasy Analysis:

Here's another reason why playing for a fantasy football championship in week 17 is a stupid idea. Maybe McCoy's ankle injury is no big deal -- the X-rays obviously came back negative. But with their playoff hopes dashed for good, why would the Eagles risk playing McCoy next week versus Washington if he wasn't 100 percent? We'll monitor McCoy's status during the week but if you're depending on him in the season finale, pick up Ronnie Brown as insurance.
