He suffered a foot injury during overtime of last week's loss to the Raiders and was seen Wednesday in a walking boot. According to reports, Battle will be listed as doubtful for week 17, meaning Thomas Jones should see most of the carries versus Denver. Dexter McCluster will play on third downs.

Battle burst upon the scene with a couple of nice games fairly early this season. But for the past seven weeks, he hasn't been worth putting in your lineup. This isn't a major loss for fantasy owners, but if you're desperate, the ageless Jones becomes a flex option in 12-team leagues as he faces a Broncos defense that has given up gobs of fantasy points to running backs over the past five weeks.
