Randy Moss' agent says his client is determined, motivated

Randy Moss @DaRealOtisMoss quit football last year. Well, not officially. He pretty much quit it around the middle of last season while he was playing for the Tennessee Titans. In eight games with Tennessee, Moss caught six passes for 80 yards. He caught more than one pass in only one of those games and was left with a goose egg in four others. However, Moss is ready to become a big-time player once again. He didn't say that; it was his agent on Wednesday. "Randy has been working out, two-a-days, all spring and summer in West Virginia," Joel Segal said. "He is determined, motivated and quite frankly has a huge chip on his shoulder. Whatever team ends up getting Randy, they're going to know they're getting the old Randy Moss. He's not just coming in to be on the team, he's going to be Randy Moss -- a difference maker."

Fantasy Analysis:

Are we sure Segal meant to say "the" old Randy Moss or just an old Randy Moss? The latter certainly seemed more appropriate in the second half of 2010. Moss appeared to be completely disinterested with the game. Although, it wasn't the first time his effort was questioned. It's nice to hear that Moss is heading into this season with a chip on his shoulder, but understand Segal's motives as Moss' agent before you put a lot of weight on his comments. Some team will take a flyer on the 34-year-old Moss, and you're welcome to do the same in the late rounds of your fantasy drafts. In the right situation with a stable QB, Moss could be a low-risk, high-reward pick. I think playing time will be the biggest issue.
