Cowboys' Tony Romo says collarbone is completely healthy

It was probably 100 percent long before this note, but Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo said Wednesday that his once-broken left collarbone is now completely healthy. Romo also expressed optimism that the current lockout would be over soon and that his team is prepared to get back to work. "The commitment level from each guy on our team ... it's exciting from my perspective," Romo said. "As the quarterback, that's what I wanted to see. The guys came out (to player-only workouts), and our team will be ready to go when this thing starts. "It feels like I've been off for a long time. I've been working as hard as possible. Our team has done a great job doing the same." Romo was on his way to another very productive regular season before Giants linebacker Michael Boley drove him into the ground in week seven, breaking the collarbone. In about five and a half games last season, Romo threw for 1,605 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Fantasy Analysis:

Since we're talking about Romo's non-throwing shoulder, his performance shouldn't be impacted heavily by any lingering pain this season. He threw at least 26 touchdowns passes from 2007-2009, and he was on his way to topping that number in 2010. As Dez Bryant matures -- at least on the field, certainly not off of it -- he'll join with Miles Austin and Jason Witten to form a strong trio of options for Romo. With 16 games, you should pencil him in for 26+ TDs and around 4,000 yards. According to FFToolbox's average draft position chart, Romo is the seventh QB off the board right now with his name being called after about 50 picks. Quarterback is very deep this year in fantasy, but Romo's upside is one of the greatest at the position. He's worth a fourth- or fifth-round pick.
