Kyle Orton placed on trading block, Tim Tebow is the man in Denver

The Denver Post's Mike Klis has reported that the Denver Broncos have placed quarterback Kyle Orton on the trading block. With that news, it is then assumed that second-year QB is officially the starter for the Broncos. Klis reported that Orton's "days as the Broncos' starting QB may be down to hours." They are seeking at least a third-round pick for Orton. Some possible destinations include the Redskins, Dolphins, Cardinals and Vikings. The Broncos will likely keep Jake Delhomme as a backup in order to tutor Tebow.

Fantasy Analysis:

Tebow was already receiving some Fantasy buzz due to his dual-threat talent and strong finish to the season last year. Now that he's the clear-cut starter, you should be on high alert. The quarterback class is heavy at the top but thins out quickly and finding a solid backup who can compete with Aaron Rodgers, Michael Vick or Drew Brees isn't easy. Since Tebow can run it and pass it, it gives him more opportunities to score points. If you can grab his towards the late-middle of your draft, take a chance on him if you've got a stud QB1. Tebow had a couple big games to finish the 2010 season, so the expectations are still high for him. As for Orton, he might be a starter, but it largely depends where he plays whether he has any value this year. Considering most teams without a QB aren't very good, it may not be worth the risk.
