DeAngelo Williams wants to retire a Carolina Panther

Potential free agent running back DeAngelo Williams @DeAngeloRB has stated that he's going to give the Carolina Panthers the first opportunity to re-sign him. He added, "There are possibly a few other teams I don't know about right now, but I'm pretty excited about where we are going as far as me and the Panthers. Wish me luck. I'm going in (to the stadium) as a Panther and I want to stay a Panther. I want to retire as Panther. But at the end of the day it's a business." As for the rumors that former Panthers and current Broncos head coach John Fox is interested in signing Williams, he stated "don't believe what you hear."

Fantasy Analysis:

Well then! For all Fantasy intents and purposes, both Jonathan Stewart @Jonathanstewar1 and Williams don't have much value if they're on the same team. Williams is being very loyal to the Panthers even though the team is beginning a new chapter under a new coach and quarterback. Stewart could be a Fantasy stud if given role of Carolina's feature back but this only hurts his Fantasy Football value. Carolina will have a whole new offense led by Cam Newton and depending upon his level of success or struggle, so too goes the Panthers' offensive production.
