Derek Anderson will be gone from Arizona

Oh, here's a stunner: One of the worst quarterbacks in the league who was due about $4 million this season will be cut. According to Pro Football Weekly, Derek Anderson @DAnderson314 will be released by the Arizona Cardinals when possible. In 2010, Anderson played in 12 games for Arizona. He completed just 51.7 percent of his passes and threw 10 interceptions next to seven touchdowns. For his five-year career, Anderson has a QB rating of just 68.8 and two more interceptions than touchdowns.

Fantasy Analysis:

Arizona's starting quarterback for 2011 isn't currently on its roster. It's not going to be John Skelton. It's not going to be Max Hall. And it certainly wasn't going to be Anderson. So it's unfair to judge how this move impacts the Cardinals' receiving corps. But at least they won't have to deal with Anderson any longer. Unfortunately, I'm sure he will catch on somewhere else because people will overlook his statuesque movement and horrible decision-making for a big arm. Anderson is just 28 years old.
