Colts bring back RB Joseph Addai
Now that the Colts have Peyton Manning locked up for five more years, they can get to work on signing his supporting cast. They got started Saturday by re-signing running back Joseph Addai. He confirmed the transaction in an interview with WISH-TV, but terms of the contract have not been disclosed. Last season, Addai ran for 495 yards and scored just four touchdowns, which are single-season lows for him. But Addai only played in eight games due to injury.
Fantasy Analysis:
Be it because of injury or ineffective play, Addai hasn't been much of a fantasy producer during the past three seasons. He has averaged just 3.8 yards per carry over that time span, and he should lose more carries to Donald Brown and rookie Delone Carter
this season. Addai is a fringe RB2, but I feel best staying away from him in drafts. There's just too much risk associated with him.
