Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw will sit out OTAs
New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw
routinely missed multiple practices every week last season, but suited up on Sundays more often than not. So maybe it shouldn't be seen as such a big deal that Bradshaw won't participate in OTAs and minicamps this summer. He plans on being ready for training camp after receiving an injection in February to help out his chronically injured right foot.
"I probably can (run), but I am not going to try for two or three months more," Bradshaw told the New York Daily News. "I just want to rest as much as I can. By the time training camp comes, I want to practice every week and start the season off right."
Fantasy Analysis:
It seems like Bradshaw, 26, will continue to be dogged by foot injuries for the rest of his career, and he is always going to be a major injury risk in any fantasy draft. The Giants have D.J. Ware
, Da'Rel Scott
and Andre Brown
behind Bradshaw on the running back depth chart. I would expect them to address that situation during this month's draft.
